The performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps in Turkey during the fourth quarter of 2024 shows intriguing trends in user engagement and downloads, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 13.2K in late December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated but ended the quarter with approximately 144.6K users.

TAG Sürücü experienced a significant rise in downloads, reaching nearly 9.7K by late November. Active users also showed an upward trend, peaking at about 35.6K in early December before tapering off towards the end of the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 5.7K mid-October. However, active user numbers gradually decreased, closing the quarter at approximately 95.8K.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a stable download pattern, with a noticeable increase to about 4K in the week of December 23. Active users showed a decline throughout the quarter, ending with around 17.1K.

inDrive. Save on city rides downloads saw a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing with approximately 2.2K. The active user base also decreased, hitting a low of about 12.5K before recovering slightly to end the year at 15.1K.
